The Chef Educator podcast is hosted by Dr. Colin Roche and was created as a comprehensive resources for new and “seasoned” culinary, hospitality, and pastry arts teachers, instructors and faculty in both secondary and post-secondary schools.

The show addresses the many issues related to student learning and instructor effectiveness, starting with an episode on designing a course, and then all the way through syllabus and lesson plan development, as well as other specific topics such as successful lectures, assessment, active learning techniques, student engagement and motivation. The hope is to provide a collection of practical and effective teaching tools, tips and techniques that can be used in the classroom and/or lab.
